At Olivia’s Noodle House, each bowl tells a story — of home, tradition, patience, and people.
About Us
Born in the heart of Sichuan, the birthplace of authentic Chinese spicy cuisine, our owner grew up surrounded by the aromas and rhythms of her grandmother’s kitchen. There, she learned that a truly remarkable broth is a labor of love:
A slow, layered simmer of fresh bones, vegetables, and hand-picked spices, coaxing flavor and depth from every ingredient over hours of careful tending until the flavors reach harmony.
The essence of our soup lies in its foundation: organic Sichuan peppercorns and chilies, sourced directly from the province itself. They lend a fragrant, awakening heat — bold yet balanced, fiery yet comforting — that defines the soul of every bowl.
But a bowl is more than broth and heat. We believe in delicate craft, in the little hands and quiet rituals that bring something special. Each morning, our kitchen hums with activity: we fold, pinch, and seal homemade soup dumplings and wontons.
Each one a tiny vessel of flavor, tender wrappers bursting with savory broth or seasoned filling. These dumplings and wontons carry forward the same devotion that compliments our soups.
Our toppings are made with the same care: tender short ribs, melt-in-your-mouth pork belly, slow-braised beef stew — each ingredient chosen and prepared to support the whole, to elevate each slurp, each bite, each moment at your table.
Here in Glastonbury, we’re more than a noodle house — we’re part of the community. Our owner and team all live here, serving neighbors like family. We greet familiar faces, watch families grow, and pour the same care into every bowl that we would for our own. Local hands, local hearts, nourishing our community — one bowl at a time.
